The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique is a premier, government-funded research organization in France and the largest fundamental science agency in Europe. Dr. Gilles Berhault is a research fellow at CNRS, and attends annual conferences hosted by multiple research organizations throughout Europe. 
Brief
Design an engaging slide deck for Dr. Berhault’s conference lecture, to provide visual support and simplify complex concepts concerning the cobalt promotion of bulk catalysts. As well as, utilize aesthetics to enhance the experience of Dr. Berhault’s lecture.
Solution
Redesigned visual tools strengthen the way chemical structures, reactions, and properties are communicated, identified, and analyzed, using a distinctly utilitarian design approach. Constructist-style illustrations contrast with low magnification TEM images; creating a striking visual contrast that makes the material more engaging and easier to interpret. Clean sans serif typography supports clarity throughout the slide deck, aligning with the overall aesthetic. Alongside the slide presentation, a complementary booklet version of the design was also produced.
