The French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS) “Centre National de la Recherche Scientifique” is a premier, government-funded research organization in France and the largest fundamental science agency in Europe. Dr. Gilles Berhault is a research fellow at CNRS, and attends annual conferences hosted by multiple research organizations throughout Europe. Dr. Berhault approached requesting design services that would enhance his lecture visual aids.
Brief
Make Dr. Berhault’s conference lecture more appealing and stand out. Design an engaging slide deck to visually support and simplify complex concepts concerning the cobalt promotion of bulk catalysts.

Solution
Redesign visual tools used to communicate, identify, and analyze chemical structures, reactions, and properties with a utilitarian design approach. Constructivism style Illustrations contrast with low magnification TEM images, making the aesthetics not only more interesting but easier to grasp its information. Sans serif fonts were taken in consideration for a clean and slick-looking text throughout the slide deck that would par with the overall design. In addition to the slide deck, a booklet version of the design was provided as well.
