Create a brand with a flare for the esoteric that is whimsical and mysterious in nature and reflects the handmade aspect of the products provided by the client.
Solution
Papalotl is the Nahuatl word for 'butterfly'. The butterfly famously is a symbol for transformation. Hailing from the same order as the butterfly (Lepidoptera) the moth is a symbol for transformation, intuition, and a deep connection to the spiritual realm. The logo's esoteric icon combines a moth and a symbol for truth, and spiritual insight: an eye. The icon is paired with an earthy Victorian serif font. The overall style of the logo draws inspiration from tarot cards and Art Nouveau, which dictates the brand's mystical aesthetic. The brand system is supported by line art illustrations and minimalist assets.
