West Texas Trauma-Informed Care Consortium
Based in El Paso, Texas, the West Texas Trauma-Informed Care Consortium (WTTICC)is a group of organizations, professionals and community members in West Texas working together to provide information and access to resources for trauma-informed care to families who have been or may be impacted by traumatic experiences.
The logo unifies strong symbols from the El Paso region and Mexican community. Symbolizing life and rebirth, a hummingbird is used as the main focus. Poppies are juxeposed as wings, a symbol of community and a predominant flower in the region. Yellow poppies have the meaning of joy and happiness, while orange symbolizes health and regeneration; the solo pink wing is used to represent the predominant Mexican culture in the community. The goal of these combined symbols is to not only represent the region, but bring a feeling of healing and full recovery.
